About me:
I am a proud a Barada descendant and South Sea Island man.
Growing up, I was always surrounded by family. I have the best memories of growing up with my cousins; fishing, playing basketball, playing cricket and the all-time favourite – spotlight at night with other kids in the neighbourhood, many of which I am still friends with today.
Being raised surrounded by beautiful family is what has shaped me to become the person I am. I was always taught be humble, have integrity, care for others, to be kind, be respectful, and most importantly to be proud of who we are; our culture and our traditions.

My two children!
BudbyYaga Group – I love every part of what we do, what we represent. My passion is teaching culture, educating other people on our rich 200+ years of culture and walking along side people as they grow on their own cultural journey. -
Super strength like the hulk
-
Having racism become a thing of the past. I hope I am contributing to this change by sharing my knowledge and my culture with all.

Fishing, golf and Canberra Raiders.

My father, he was a person of great strength, integrity and never backed down from adversity.

Justin is our actions man. When we need something to happen – it gets done. He is always analysing where we can improve and how we can better each detail. Justin brings calm to the overall picture and works hard on every aspect of his work.
About me:
I am a proud Torres Strait Island man. My grandfather was born on Waiben Island, known as Thursday Island.
From a big and loving family; Island dancing, family gatherings and Kup Murri’s were the norm. Laughter was always heard and one of my greatest memories is the sound of my grandma’s hearty, cheeky laughter. Wherever we were, we were surrounded by uncles, aunties, and cousins. The way I was raised has kept me grounded and level-headed. I am passionate about health, I am a truth seeker and I value honesty and respect to myself and to others.
-
My first and foremost greatest achievement would be my Son. I am so proud to see the young man he is becoming. He constantly shows the traits of becoming a wonderful adult human being. I love watching him develop and grow.
My second greatest achievement would have to be my own self development. I currently am the best version of me, and I continue to grow and improve daily. -
The ability to heal others and myself. Heal the mind and the body. To rid the world of all mental illnesses and diseases. I believe the world would be a better place for it. If I couldn't get that ability, I think telepathy would be fun.
-
Why are we here? I would get people thinking about that question. I don't believe we are here to work, eat, sleep - repeat.
-
Gardening, natural medicines.
-
My father is my role model. He is the inspiration for my curiosity and thirst for truth. His strength in not giving up when he truly believes in something is what I aspire to.

BudbyYaga is the first Indigenous owned business that I have had the privilege to be a part of it. I see BSG doing something that I have never seen. Bridging the gap from community to the workforce with Cultural Awareness. When the voice speaks a message that rings honesty, integrity, fairness, and equality, I am happy and proud to be a part of that.
BYG has tremendous opportunity and potential in their future that can impact many communities and workforces. I am excited for the future of BYG.
